A small update with new measurements

Around the beginning of October we received a new update which indicated that Isaac is now 84.5cm and 13 kg (28.6 lbs) with a 14.5 cm foot. We were also told that he goes up and down stairs, plays with other children, "pats the ball", likes to look at books while talking to himself, takes off his clothes, but does not put them on yet, drinks from a cup and feeds himself and says 2 and 3 character words. Of course we would have loved more photos, but at least it was something.

We are PA and sent a care package

We got our PA August 4th and sent a care package right away. We sent the care package through an agency called Ladybugs N Love. They were great. There is a photo attached of what we sent but it included books, a train toy (picked because it had a pig face and he was born in the auspicious year of the golden pig), two cameras sent for them to take photos for us and that hopefully we'll get in China and they will have photos of them. A photo album for him with 12 photos of us and our family and we also sent a cake. We were told that if we sent a cake then we would most likely get photos as the orphanage would be showing proof that he got the cake. These photos are from August and it looks like he got a buzz cut - same outfit but he looks a little taller. You can tell that he just loved his train toy - even when he is with the cake he has his hand on it. We did not have PA for his birthday in July and so we were not yet able to send a package but we hoped that this made him feel special and that it is his last birthday without his family.

It's Summer and Split Pants are all the Rage - an update

We are excited to receive an update qround June 15, 2009. He had a height of 81.5 cm, foot of 13.5 cm and weight of 11 kg. In the late March update he had a height of 79 cm so if the measurement is correct he grew a little in height - weight stayed the same. He just looks adorable.

18-19 Months - Michelin Man and Video

The first picture we saw of our son was from these photos - one was posted on the waiting child list. I immediately loved that he was snuggling a little stuffed toy puppy dog. This was from winter so he was all bundled up and roly poly - like a Michelin Man. We have a video of this same day too.

First pictures

We saw the first pictures of this little boy on the agency's waiting child list on March 12th. We contacted the agency and requested his file.
In his file we saw these very early baby photos (we don't know when they were taken).
